Should I get new cv joints?

I drive an automatic 2010 corolla s with 145,000 and hear a clicking when I turn and accelerate at low speeds the same time it's been that way for years.  My old mechanic told me not to worry about it so I just delt with it, he retired and my new mechanic told me I could have the cv joints rebuild to save money, and they did for about a week then I heard it again, he had them rebuilt again under warranty but now they are clicking again. Should I just buy new cv joints or could it be something else?

It happens when I'm at a stop and make a turn, I hear a knocking sound and sometimes feel it in the steering wheel under hard accretion when turning.

If it is indeed the joints making noise it is usually simplest to replace the entire axles with new ones that have brand new joints and boots.
