Hi Scotty,
I've recently bought a 2008 Lexus GS300 with the 3 litre V6, 49k miles (actual verified mileage). It has a GDI engine - I've read that it's good practice to use a fuel system cleaner every now and then to avoid carbon buildup. Is that true?
BG 44k in particular seems to have good reviews. Do you think it's worth it? I'm in the UK and apparently we have more additives in our fuel so not sure whether it's worth it or not.

They are good cleaners. If your car only has a direct inejction system, installing an oil catch can helps as well.
Thanks. The oil catch idea is interesting, I'll do some research.
You're welcome. Good luck!
