Scotty,
I have a 1977 Trans Am with 33,000 original miles on it with a 350 transmission in it. The car has been very well kept in a climate controlled warehouse for years. It has a small transmission leak and I was wanting to ask ..What are the top 3 transmission sealants you would recommend that will not cause me any transmission problems. I know you recommend AT 205 reseal on a video but I cant find it anywhere and I mean anywhere. Thank you sir

Pull the tranny and fix it the right way! Where is it leaking from? My 1979 Catalina has a leaking input shaft seal and I plan on pulling it at some point. Transmissions are relatively easy to get out of those cars. They're self controlled, hydraulic units. AT-205 is more for a band-aid fix for a beater that's not worth investing a bunch of money in, vs a highly collectable 1977 Trans Am.
You can't find At-205 anywhere? I just looked on amazon and its on there ready to buy. But yea you can try that and hopefully it stops it. I wouldn't go putting in a bunch of different sealers and crap in there because that could mess with your trans oil and make things even worse. I've seen guys seal very small external leaks with a little gasket maker if you can see where its leaking from and it's a mating spot or something external you can easily get to but since it's a trans leak I doubt it will be that easy. Otherwise if the AT-205 doesn't work you might have an expensive/difficult repair on your hands. hope the AT-205 helps!
