Hello everyone. I have a problem with my 2009 Subaru Legacy (162,000 miles). It's emitting a large amount of white smoke from under the engine, and it's also leaking oil. Any idea what it could be? How serious is it, and how dangerous is it to drive like this? Happy Memorial Day!

Subarus before 2012 are notorious for blowing head gaskets. We mentioned that to you a couple of years ago when you got coolant in your oil. Did you fix the leak?
@imperator Yes, I remember the help they gave me that time, the problem was much simpler than expected (the street where I parked is uneven, depending on which side I parked the car would be tilted and give erroneous readings for both oil and coolant) although this time it seems that the problem is real and quite serious.
I think you need to find out where the oil is leaking from.
