Hi, I've got an 06 toyota solara 128k miles 4 cylinders, when braking it, I get a scratching sound, any idea what's wrong, I took a look at the brakes and brake pad and they look good 👍Â
Please help

Take the wheels off and check the calipers to see if some road debris is caught in the caliper somewhere.
Oh okay, thank you

This has happened to me a couple of times when a very large Maple leaf got stuck in between the caliper and the brake pad retaining pins causing a horrendous scratching, sandpaper like noise when the brakes were applied.
