Where do I apply the dielectric grease to the spark plug boot? I'm thinking apply the grease to the inside of the boot that goes over the spark plug so that it lubricates the area to make it easier to remove the boot the next time I pull it off.

I’ve always used a q-tip to apply the dielectric grease, and always had no problems with connectivity for the life of the plug. But it’s not an elegant solution and does leave some fibers.
