Spark plug carbon fouling

Hi Scotty, my 2006 Honda Fit (Jazz) VTi GD3 has already got dry carbon fouling deposits on the spark plugs after only 10,000km. One of them has very dark black fouling only on side of the metal part, and another plug isn't as dark but has some browning of the insulator, should I be concerned? Or is this normal, possibly due to my frequent short trips driving around my town. I can send a few photos if needed. Thanks!

Welcome first time poster…

Haynes suggests: “Make sure the plug has the correct heat range. Check for a clogged air filter or problem in the fuel system or engine management system. Also check for ignition systems problem.”

So, IOW, could be several things.

Sounds like you're running too rich. What do your fuel trims look like?
