Speed sensor snapped…

Hey guys, I have a 2007 Honda Civic Ex 2dr auto with 194k. The input transmission speed sensor went out and had to get replaced. Unfortunately, the sensor snapped in half and is still in the tranny. What are you guy’s best method of removing a broken sensor like this?

To paint a better picture of the situation: the sensor is underneath the air filter box/intake & throttle body, on top of the tranny.

It’s going to be a real stinker pulling this thing out.

You're right about it being a "real stinker" to get out.

If it's snapped off flush with the case, you'll have to use a drill to remove it.
