Used 2013 Lexus GX 460, what could be wrong? (Dealership)

Scotty has me worried about the CVT in my 2017 Altima, so I am looking at trading it in and buying a 2013 GX 460. I wanted to ask what sort of problems might be common and what I should look out for. I am in VA. Beach, VA. and it's a local car, so no road salt. It also has been serviced locally religiously at the local Lexus Dealer. I assume the Water Pump and Timing Chain might need to be inspected, but I also assume it checked at the Lexus 100,000 mile check-up at the dealer. It doesn't show in the carfax either was changed.

What should I worry about?

The problem with these vehicles is that when they break, parts and maintenance for this vehicle are $$$$. Also don't forget that the average fuel economy for this vehicle is in the teens. If it's got high mileage (200k-250k+), I would look at something else.

It has 118,000 miles and I am looking to make sure it lasts 10 years. I put about 8k a year on it. I know about the fuel consumption. Anything that would commonly break?

Check the electronics and computer and make sure that everything is functioning correctly. Sometimes what you see first hand may not end up good in the long run.

Nine years old and from a dealer?  I would keep looking.  What kind of outrageous price do they want for it?

You should expect to spend good money for the repairs. Don't get me wrong, those trucks are well made but things will finally break and being a luxury brand, their repairs costs (parts and labor) are astronomical. If you decided to buy one, make sure your trustworthy mechanic checks it out with a fine teeth comb before purchase.

It's a Lexus so already more expensive, then buying from dealership adds even more to the price, and also cost of repairs/maintenance is higher for a Lexus. Depending on your needs and if you don't need a literally truck then go for a Highlander; Toyota so good quality, less expensive price and repairs.

As far as electronics what should I look for? I am not a car guy so to speak, am I looking and making sure everything is working right, I see no codes either.

Take the car to a trustworthy mechanic if you want to buy it, otherwise you likely regret it. That's my last answer.
