Hello everyone,

I have 07 civic with 200K km on it. It makes squeaky sound but I have no clue where. So I sprayed WD-40 strut mounting but I kinda sprayed a rubber bushing strut mounting. Will this cause a problem?

Nah you're good. Just keep it away from the brakes and life is good.

No you're ok.

No, you are fine, WD-40 is safe on rubber.

Hy!

WD 40 is harmless. As long as you don't spray it on brakes, you are ok. If that happens, use a brake cleaner to remove it.

That ATP AT-205 stuff that Scotty talks about would probably work better on rubber bushings than WD-40. Although billed as a stop leak, Scotty has done videos showing its use on a number of rubber parts including suspension bushings.
