So, I have steering wheel shaking while braking at almost any speed. I know this is normally caused by warped rotors. When I purchased the car a year ago I did rotors/pads and drums and shoes. Like a week later I had a front caliper start to stick. I replaced but had steering wheel shake so I replaced the rotor on the side of replaced caliper and new pads for both sides. At this point I have been driving it like this for almost a year but would really like to sort it out. Any suggestions?

Check wheel bearings and races.
Could that cause shaking only a braking? Car is smooth other then braking and no obvious bearing noise or play in the front end
Your tires may be out of balance if you haven’t balanced them in a while
Not likely. If the tires were out of balance, the front end would shake without the brakes being applied. He said this happens during braking.
Right but I also had this issue myself and I got a tire balance and it went away, I mean it’s just a suggestion on what it could be
The wheels have been balanced but didn't make a difference.

I always replace in pairs but I only put the other rotor on a week before. Didn't think that would be enough time to make a difference. Also bought same brand rotor at the same autoparts store. Do you think a weeks wear could make a difference?
1 week should not make a difference unless your pads ground down to the metal backing.have you checked the calipers are torqued up correctly and not loose? are the pads loose within the caliper?. from my experiences steering wheel shaking under braking could be 1 of 2 things, warped brake rotors which you say you replaced, next could be wheel alignment? wheel bearings loose? you have mentioned that wheels have been balanced. does the brake pedal pulse when you apply pressure to the brake pedal?
