The aftermarket looks cheaper and easier to install. However, are they safe?
2011 hyandai sonata 125,000 miles.

You get what you pay for. Cheap struts are just that -cheap. Sometimes, worn out OEM struts are better than aftermarket new ones.
Look at KYB struts and see if they fit your car. I put KYB shocks and struts on my '79 Pontiac and they ride really nice.
