Hey Scotty, Newer Subarus have have had a recalls but How are the previous generation 2016-2019ish legacys with the port injected N/A 2.5?

They're OK cars. For what it's worth I know several people with Subarus in that age range and they have not had any trouble. The CVT is the weakest part as far as longevity. You can look up any recalls using the VIN:

They are not great but not bad either. The head gaskets were an issue early on but seems around 18 they fixed that. They also experience a knock in the 4th cylinder on the 2.5 because the cooling is the worst over there. Go to motorreviewer.com it will tell you everything about the 2.5.
