Is Supertech oil any good?

It is not all that bad, but there are better options. Project Farm's video on it is pretty good.

Yes, but wouldn't be my first choice.  And any API certified oil these days is "good", just some better than others.

For a basic engine like a 4 cylinder Honda or Toyota it's ok. I would not put it in a "fancy" car.

I would say depending on the age and condition of the vehicle, it might be OK (ie. an older vehicle). But I would pay a little more for say Valvoline or Mobil 1.

I think in the end, oil is oil, and as long as it's clean and topped off (and you change it regularly and use the right viscosity and type) the brand isn't as important

But again, it depends on the age and condition of the vehicle.  If it was a newer vehicle I would NOT use SuperTech, and rather use the OEM oil, Valvoline or Mobil 1.  I'd only use cheap oil or Supertech if the car was much older and I maybe didn't care as much or if the car was burning a lot of oil and I didn't want to spend a lot, but in general, you change your oil maybe 3-4 times per year.  Just spend a few more bucks for a good quality oil like Valvoline or Mobil 1 or Castrol.
