I have a 02 dodge durango 206629 miles automatic transmission, p1762,p1763 with all the towing package on it, the codes i have already changed the governor pressure sensor and fluid and filter. i need to know how i might can fix this issue as well as the brakes shake when you depress them and the abs and brake light always stay on it doesnt stop as it should. i also need to know how i can make the rear suspension stronger on it since i have to use it to haul heavy loads for working with. thanks
you'll be better off posting each problem separately
As for the brakes, it sounds like your rotors may be worn, and that is causing them to shake. As for the ABS and brake light warning, have you checked your brake fluid level? The brake light comes on when the level is low, and the ABS light could be telling you there's an issue in the ABS module. A good scanner should tell you what that is.
Check the fluid level in the brake reservoir, if it's low, top it off. That should turn the light off. It sounds like you may have a leak somewhere if it'snot stopping correctly. Check all 4 wheels for fluid leaks. If you have drum brakes in the back, pull the drum off and check each wheel cylinder for leaks. Does your pedal move within a "normal" range, or does it sink to the floor?
it sinks. im not sure if it needs the master cylinder i scanned it with a scan tool and never got any codes for the abs. i want to say i replaced the rotors and brakes on the front and it has drums on the rear .
