Should I repair my suspension

Hi Scotty and Community,

I have a 2013 Hyundai Sonata GLS.  It has 268K plus (motor recalled and replaced at 124K) for free mind you because of metal shaving getting in engine).  I take good care of the car and do the regular maintenance, etc.)  I was told I need new suspension links.  I have been driving it a round a bit because my repair person (at dealership) said I could.  They said it was going to be around 600 or so to fix.  What are suspension links and do I really need to repair right away?  What other suggestions or questions around suspension links should I be asking or looking for.  Thank you so much.

Suspension is important. You need it maintain control of your car. Nothing about it is optional. In a high speed or panic situation, it could become unstable.

You need to stop going to those rip-off artists. They will charge you the most, and perform repairs that aren't necessary. Find yourself a trustworty independent mechanic.

Better yet, get rid of the Korean car and get a Toyota.
