Taking care of car in Winter

Hello Scotty,

I have a 2010 Toyota Corolla and stay in Winnipeg Canada. Could get to -40 degrees in deep winter.
with the pandemic, I work from home and will not go out much. Is it okay to just start my car every 2 days, allow it idle for a while through the winter months for days I’m not going out. Will that damage my battery, engine etc because I am not driving just idling the car to warm daily?

Drive for 15 minutes once a week in normal speeds.

Just keep the battery always clean on top and the posts, let it idle a while, and you should be fine. I'm from the great white north also.
