Hey Scotty! Appreciate all that you honestly do to help the world on cars and their drivers. I have an 08 Infiniti G35x sedan, automatic transmission. Bought with 16k miles on it for $27k back in November of '11. Moved from Chicago last February to Dallas (avoid the salt and rust!) and just crosses 101K miles. Performed scheduled 90k miles service, flushed all fluids, replaced all hoses, the whole nine. Always do full synthetic oil changes and premium fuel and baby every mile as I obsess over my car. Headlights are starting to get murky but not urgent. I probably put more $ into it than the car is worth now but I want it to last a long long time. I know the engine is solid but the transmissions leave a lot to be desired. I have heard of the galley gasket failing on some models which can brick the whole car. Can this car last until 200k miles? 150k miles?
I also get check engine lights a few times a year which is p0455 (evap sensor) and just a loose gas cap and when the temperature fluctuates greatly between hot and cold. Eventually goes away and no real problem. However from a recent road trip from memphis to dallas, i got p0455 code AS WELL AS p0171 (running too lean, bank 1). I heard its common and also no big deal but don't want it to become catastrophic down the line. Looks just like the picture with the 18" rims
Plan on getting a sienna or highlander next for growing family but want to keep my sedan as its quite the looker. Love you scotty!

Find the scotty video on keeping the headlights clear.
Scotty isn't nuts about all wheel drive for the possibility of increased maintenance costs down the line, but he was in Houston for a long time.
I would think you’re better off getting that Sienna/Highlander now, and relegating your Infiniti to the duties of a weekend toy.
As Scotty often says, repairs for them can start to get costly post the 100,000miles mark, but since you baby it, it may be relatively trouble free till 150,000miles.
For the headlights, get a new aftermarket set. That’s the only real way to fix the oxidation permanently.
PS. Sorry for the extremely late response. Somehow, your query seems to have slipped through the cracks. I apologise on Scotty’s behalf.
