Hello,
My car has some strange electrical behavior - car is running, when I turn on the headlights or heater the temperature gauge changes reading and immediately goes a little higher, I turn them off and the temperature goes back down the same amount. I guess it's bad connection somewhere but how do I troubleshoot all that wiring?
It's an old carburetted car with no ECU and not that much electronics but still ton of wiring. Battery is new and terminals are not loose and in excellent condition.

Load test the alternator.
