In a previous Youtube video you recommended the Thinkcar BD6 scan tool fob. Then in a subsequent video after that, you said to stay away from the Chinese scan fobs. I had already purchased the BD6. I have also purchased the BlueDriver Pro Scan tool fob, which I believe you recommended.
So does either one of these work ?
Will/can either one of these mess up my car's computer?
I gather since it uses an app on your cell phone, it could possibly tap into other data on phone.

The Blue Driver works fine, or I should say mine works fine.

Anytime someone plugs something into an electrical circuit there's always a risk albeit a very small one in this case. The BlueDriver is pretty basic and it doesn't have bidirectional functionality, you'd need a much higher end scanner to make changes to the ECU software
