Scotty, don't spend so much time showing scan tools

Watching about 20% of what I used to watch on Scotty Kilmer's YouTube. The incessant scrolling through the scan tool is a video killer. Will sometimes fast forward as soon as I hear 'the little slot machine' but often just shut the video off.

Then when it's Kilmer reading about Tesla I just shut it off. Scotty, you'll say 'Right?' 30+ times in a 10 minute video! Deceitful

To fix something properly you need to spend some time to diagnose accurately, so you’re not just replacing parts and praying it works. That’s just how things are. Scotty’s channel is mostly educational, not entertainment, and a lot of his viewers want to know how to use scan tools.

Every single Tesla that has ever been built as been recalled. Every. single. One. You also can't work on one yourself, only a dealership can do it, which maximizes Elon's profits at your expense. He can also charge as much as he wants, because he can. All he is, is greedy.

Yeah but a lot of the "recalls" with Elon can be fixed with software updates where you don't actually have to bring the car in for service
.
As far as"greedy", Elon makes everything about his Teslas "Open Source". Anyone can duplicate it in their cars or improve on it in their cars without worrying about infringing on patents or any copyright issues
.
Now I'm not a big fan of Electric cars at this time (their day will come) but you can't label the way Elon runs Tesla as "greedy"

Only dealers being able to work on cars isn't exactly "open source".

Most repair shops can't even find a wiring short to Ground or a communication network problem
.
They swap parts and then give up
.
There are no mechanics at this time that have the training to work on Teslas
.
That isn't Elon's fault
.
The information is available

To me it is one of interesting parts.

I like it as well. I got my old Ranger running to within 2-3% of perfect a couple years ago, after I noticed the fuel trims were running at 12%-15% too rich.

Hmmm.... I never noticed Scotty using the word "right" that often, so I just watched an 11 minute and 38 second video to check and he never said "right" once 🤔. He did however say "hey" quite a few times but that doesn't bother me. I mean, "hey"...we all have our own little idiosyncrasies, "right"? 😏
