Hello. I’ve got a 2003 manual bmw 330xi with about 109k miles on it. When I shift and release the clutch, I noticed there was a thud sound coming from underneath the car. It’s most noticeable at lower gears but gets quieter at higher ones. Anyone know why it’s making that noise? I assume it’s something with the transmission.

It could be the pressure plate springs are worn out, or the throw out bearing is failing.
