My brother in law told me his friend is selling a G35 2006 for 3,500 with stock rims and 4,500 for custom rims. His friend was in the military and takes good care of his cars. Only problem is check engine light is on due to o2 sensor being dragged since the car is low and just needs to be replaced. Car has 173k miles with custom headlights as well. It would be my first car, any problems with this particular model?
I plan on getting a 2009 honda accord but then i got offered this so just thinking about it
I’d go with the Accord.
I love the look of the G35. But if you want less problems in the long run, Accord.
I’d be open to personal experiences with the G35. It might be good.
If it’s been modified I’d be a little more weary but the g35’s are near indestructible as long as they’re maintained it’s a sold car that can last a very long time
G35 is asking for trouble, go Accord
I used to own one 2005 with 185k miles automatic.
Had no problems.
My was stock.
But if the one you trying to get is been modified you don't want other people problems.
Plus you never said if it was automatic or manual trany.
Its a automatic and the only thing modified is the exhaust. But yeah i was doing some research and apparently the engines go out at 200k miles or so , so i passed the offer for that car i dont want to risk it
There was a recall on the G35's for the cooling fans shorting out. Ask me how I know. I had one. For 3 days. Thankfully I was able to get the dealer to buy it back off me and I avoided them ever since.
I like the look but not the mechanicals.
If you buying used one and for Disney price they good fast cars.
Plus is plenty parts for them everywhere.
U probably got bad one.
Whatch all the videos on the YouTube about g35.
I loved mine.
Only thing I didn't like automatic trany.
I have fixed a lot of these over the years, so I'm not thinking I got the only bad one. "Fast" is relative. I'd call them zippy but not fast. Mostly a nice luxury coupe. But I wouldn't buy another one or recommend one.
