I'm in the market for something reliable and cheap, but also comfortable. I've seen a lot of these for decent prices from dealers. The ones I'm looking at have 100,000 - 150,000 miles and have clean titles. Are these cars reliable and how much life does one with 100,000 - 150,000 have left? Thanks!
I've seen a lot of them with over 200k miles on them, they can be good cars if they were taken care of. Though I'd recommend not getting one before 2002, the reason is Model years of all the Ford panther body from 1996 to 2001 are subject to coolant leaks. The '96-'01 intake was 100% plastic, and with age and heat cycles, the front coolant crossover would get brittle and crack, especially around the thermostat.
I wish I had a Lincoln Town car. They are practically bulletproof.
