Hey Scotty, what are your thoughts on the newer Shelby GT 500 & 2021 Ford Mustang Mach 1?

The new Shelby GT500's have proven to be typical Ford quality, blowing motors left and right. Here's a guy picking his up at the dealer with nearly no miles:

And there are tons more already out there if you search YouTube blowing up on test drives, under 500 miles, etc. For $100k+, Ford STILL can't build a good Mustang. It's absurd.

While I like the idea of having the Mach 1 name return, the new one doesn't do it justice. Just another Mustang trim with an inflated price tag. Zero reason to be excited or even think about buying one. Sad, but at this point Ford couldn't pay me to buy a Mustang.

It’s too new to tell how they will hold up, but the regular V8’s in the MY2018+ Mustang GT’s already had oil burning issues from the plasma spray liners so hopefully they have those ironed out in these special models.  I would just lease these at this point it were me.

At least the Mach 1 is offered with the Tremec TR-3160 manual transmission and not the bad Getrag MT-82.

Meh, not a fan of Ford. However, that doesn't change the fact that the GT 500 is a mini rocket ship.

My friend has mustang gtr 500 from 2018. It is a good car but need high maintenance.
If you want your mustang to last longer
Use premium gas
Change oil after every 3000 miles
Change coolant
Don't rev your car to much
Don't go drag racing on high way as they haven tendency of hitting wall
If you want my opinion get lexus it's Naturaly aspirated and more reliable znd has less maintaine cost Than mustang

@Kerem When it runs, which is nearly never. Lots on the used market already.
