I was interested if the lexus rc300's had any issues  you might be aware of aside from the water pumps blowing around 60k miles. i'm about to turn 18 and plan on cosigning for either a new 2021 honda accord sport SE or the used 2016 RC300 F Sport... the reliability rating on the lexus's are higher.....

well lexus and honda are both very reliable and last long. honestly if your 18 and this is your first car, id get a beater for now, insurance is cheaper too. look for older camry or accord if u want some life out of the car

my current beater is a 2001 toyota avalon XLS and im absolutely in LOVE. Maybe I should wait, rack up the miles on that smooth and powerful engine and wait until im a hair more financially stable... also ive been working since i can remember which is why this car is my price range, so im afraid ill be paying both insurance and repairs. ive sent an email to my insurance lady so well see how the rates are... wish me luck!!

bro ur lucky u dont live in canada and have those rust out at that age. those can run forover just keep changing oil with synthetic every 5k in rust itll keep going

I Very well may do this... and yes california sucks law and tax wise however our cars are always in beautiful shape 😂 I plan on buying my car here in California, and when i move to a more mountainous or snowy region out of state, ill pay a heavy sum for rust protection on my undercarriage

If I were you, I'd check one other variable, before making a decision. What each vehicle will cost to insure. The numbers might be significant enough, in their difference, to factor into your decision.

you’re absolutely right and thank you for your time. it is greatly appreciated from everyone!

This may be a factor so I’ll put it out there - Who's gonna pay for maintenance & repairs?

I totally agree with the above comments. I should also add that you do not want to buy a fast car because the change that you hurt yourself or wrap it around telephone poles would be very high.

luckily I’ve always been too anxious of a driver ever pull any stunts, which is also why i plan on shooting for an AWD model... for snow and keeping me out of trouble ofc...
