Scotty, I bought a 2012 Honda Civic Ex for $6k, it has 91k miles on it and it’s an automatic. It’s my first car and I want to know how to maintain it in your own words, I’d like your thoughts on the car as well.
Excellent cars, just follow the maintenance schedule in the owners manual and continue with 5k mile oil changes and 40k mile transmission fluid changes and it should last. The thing I have against the 2012 is the cheaper interior and not so fun driving dynamics but if you like it thats what matters and reliability wise they are good cars.
The 2012 is the first year of the 9th generation that ended up getting a facelift the next model year. They’re great cars if you don’t mind the cheaply made interior
