Throttle body cleaning

Hi guys, I just have a few questions regarding cleaning the throttle body assembly on my car. For reference, I have a 2013 Chevy Trax with the 1.4L 4 cylinder Ecotec turbocharged engine mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission.

1. Do I have to remove the throttle body from the engine bay to clean it? Is it safe to clean it while leaving it attached?

2. Does having a turbocharger change anything with regards to cleaning the throttle body? Is it safe to let the cleaned off carbon and throttle cleaner flow into the engine to be burned if it has a turbocharger?

3. Should I disconnect the battery before cleaning it? I've done some reading and it seems like the ECU may have to undergo an Idle Relearning Procedure after I plug it back in. Whill unplugging the battery, disconnecting the throttle body electronics, cleaning it, reconnecting the throttle body, followed by the electronics and finally the battery work in terms of avoiding issues with Engine Idle Relearning?

4. I've read that some cars have special coating on the intake manifolds past the other side of the throttle body (eg. Fords), and that a special throttle body cleaner would need to be used. Is there any way to find out if my car would be one of the ones with the coating?

Thanks in advance.

it's better if you remove the TB first. It shouldn't be that much more work.
