Hey, I’ve owned this Lexus and it has had regular maintenance. It started developing a ticking noise after it heats up. Noise lowers for a few seconds and sometimes even stops but then continues ticking for the next 60 seconds and it gets gradually worse the more you use the car during the day. Car runs perfectly fine. No misfires. Ticking noise goes away over 3000 RPM. No noise when it gets started in the morning. No check engine or any warning lights at all.
Well, I realize those things have variable valve timing systems and I often can get noisy. It cost a small fortune to replace them. Most people will live with that taking. So go to the mechanic like me and let them listen to it with their stethoscope and I'll tell you
