Ticking Noise at Idle

Hi everyone, I hope someone can help me figure out what is causing this new ticking noise on my truck. I noticed this ticking noise coming from my truck when I’m at idle that is fairly loud that you can only hear when the windows are down. Me and my cousin narrowed it down to coming from underneath the intake manifold. Is there something underneath there that can be causing this tick to happen? I don’t want to have to take the manifold. Any idea as to what it can be will help me out a lot. My truck is a 2017 Tacoma SR5 V6 with 67k miles. I have a video of what if sounds like but don’t know how to attach it to here.

Please make a YouTube video of the noise & post the link here.

Forgot to mention that the noise can only be heard after the engine is warmed up.

Well it's taking a noise like that is often a leaking exhaust system check for exhaust leaks because if it's not that unfortunately it would be internal where the engine like warm camshafts or one piston rods

Thank you for the info Scotty. If it were a worn camshaft or piston rod, wouldn’t the check engine light be on?

Not necessarily. There are no sensors to detect a bad rod bearing. For the camshaft or valve lifters it would depend on whether it's causing a severe enough problem that the computer turns the check engine light on. (Also bear in mind that not all codes turn the light on.)

Very true. Thank you for the information. I’ll be looking for an exhaust leak later today.

I completely forgot to mention this, but I had some work done to the truck recently and one of those things was a tune. Not sure if that would affect it, as I have other friends with the same tune and there trucks run perfectly.
