Hi, My Honda dealer is recommending replacing the TB. The 2017 Honda V6 has only about 17,700 miles on it. Drove in California for 1.5 years and in Southern Arizona since July 2018. So the car is slightly over 6 years old and in great condition with less than 18000 miles. Should the TB be replaced since it's 6 years old. Usually TBs are replaced around 100,000 miles. Need advice! Thanks!
The owner's manual doesn't seem to have that information, though with over 600 pages I may have missed it.
Here's what Honda recommends online. Pay particular attention to the "Severe Conditions" replacement schedule if any of those conditions apply to you:

Thanks for the link! Very helpful. Tucson, AZ temp usually 90° or over for about 5-6 months, easily reaching 100°s between June and August.
I'd say that qualifies you for the "severe service" maintenance schedule!
Agree with your assessment. Thanks!
Consult with your car owner's manual but I would not worry about it for another 4 years at least.
Thanks for the advice!
Tell the dealer to go pound sand.

Generally speaking car manufacturer recommendation for replacing time belts is 80000 to 100,000 MI
Thanks for the advice!
17,700 miles / 6 years seems wayyyy to early. Odds are, they are just trying to make money off of you. Like @yaser said, double check your owners manual fir the timing belt interval.
Thanks for the advice!
