To sell or not?

I have a 2015 Toyota Prius with 167,000 miles on it. I'm the original owner and have used it exclusively for work. It's had a rough life driving through the streets of NYC which at times can be like cow paths. She's been a trooper and I've never had to do anything other than routine maintenance which I performed regularly. I did have the front struts replaced as well as the brakes.

I am moving out of the state soon and I won't have as much need for the vehicle. I was offered 6 thousand dollars for it recently. Given the design of hybrids, I know there are some costly repairs on the horizon. I'm tempted to sell the car and purchase another used vehicle down the road. Any thoughts?

Personally when I buy a car I usually envision myself as the last owner before it hits the junkyard. If it runs and drives well enough I personally would keep driving it until it has some kind of catastrophic failure or repair costs that are out of my budget. You could drive the car another 100k and have minimal issues but it's up to you. I just know I absolutely HATE buying cars and will avoid it if possible.

I have a 2004 Prius with 300K+ miles, battery was changed around 275K+ miles.  If I were you, I would keep it, because I know its maintenance history. And of course, keep up with the maintenance.
