Hello!
I have a 2004 Toyota 4Runner V8 - 189,000 miles and I love it! I recently discovered your channel and am enjoying learning from you.
My issue is that my tailgate doesn’t open anymore. It’s a soft close tailgate but now when I touch the handle to open it, nothing happens & the latch doesn’t engage to unlock it. The dealership wanted about $750 to fix it. Is it just the actuator..something I can replace myself? I don’t know much about cars but I have maintained my truck very well since 2004 and I can certainly follow your direction. Appreciate your help & feedback!
