Scotty I have a 2013 Avalon with 49500 miles. Best car we have ever owned. But lately I’ve noticed a noise coming from the right side of the engine around the fan belt area kind of a knocking noise the belt looks good. The noise is constant. it’s more noticeable at idle. No check engine lights car runs perfect. Possibly water pump? Thanks Richard

The belt is old enough that it should be replaced if it's original. Other than that, take the belt off and check all pulleys and accessories for noisy or loose bearings. You could also run the engine briefly with the belt removed to see if the noise goes away.
