Hello, a have a Mazda Miata 2008 with 142,000 miles. My temperature gauge rises all the way to H then drop to normal in less then a minute. It doesn’t matter if the ac is on or not, ac work good.No one seems to find the problem. I have a new radiator, coolant tank, motor fan, rely, they flush the system, coolant fan cap, thermostat. Been to a mazda mecanic, nothing now i took it to the dealer and still nothing resolves the problem, after more then $1,000 it still rises.

Check the temperature sending unit. Advance Auto Parts and everywhere for about $28.

There may be air trapped in the system.
temperature sensor can be easily tested with a voltmeter and some boiling water.
