I have a 2010 toyota avalon automatic with 55k miles. When going down hill after a stop, it seems to hesitate catching into gear in drive. The cars revs for a second and has a delay before it engages when you press the gas.
Unfortunately that's a sign of the internal problem in the transmission so check your fluid to make sure it's full and if it is I would change the fluid and filter and pray an awful lot
I have a 2010 automatic toyota Avalon. It has 55k miles. After a full stop if you drift downhill, once you hit the pedal lightly the car revs but doesn't catch gear right away. I noticed that if you manual shift and hit the pedal in first gear, it doesn't do it but in any other gear it does. This is only a down hill problem. {black}:idontknow:
