Hey Scotty and hello from Denmark, Scandinavia - home of probably the worse cat-taxes in the world.
I am looking for a fun little DIFFERENT 2 seater and have found an import from California. Pontiac Solstice, 2,0 GXP Turbo aut., 2007, km 89600 BUT with a new engine with only 29.000 KM (according to export papers) and a new turbo.
I know you're not fan of the car as it is American build - but anythin in particular I have to look out for?
The old engine blew up - probably because they drove it hard......but that is now what I will/would be doing. Can the auto transmission get damaged when an engine 'explodes'?
Just so that you understand the prices we pay here - this is for sale for 26.000 USD LOL - cracy!! But all cars are extremely expensive.
Used to live in Florida way back and it was so much more fun paying 3400USD for a Mustang Foxbody 5.0 Convertible or 2800 USD for a 280ZX - damn I miss the US! LOL
Best regards

That car looked really nice but unfortunately the performance and quality was not there. Plus that engine is on the weak side to begin with and turbochargers are hard on engines, which is probably why the old one blew up. Also, I don't really recommend buying grey market vehicles, they can be a headache to insure and find parts for.
