I have a 2001 Toyota Avalon with 135k miles. Every so often a check engine light will come on. I’ve the code read and it’s P0440. The cleared the code and ran a smoke test and a diagnostic with their scan tool. No vacuum leak and the car passed the diagnostic test. They said we could start throwing parts into until we find the issue or you can just drive it and reset the code once a month. Is that good advice or should I try something else?
Have you seen this?
I have checked that and all hoses are connected. Would think that we have shown during smoke test.
