Hello. I'm getting a used Camry 2009 model that has run around 170256 miles. The owner won't let me do a computer test. I drove the vehicle and it felt fine. Is it ok not to do a computer test?
‘Won’t let you do a computer test’ = thank him & keep searching..
What does the owner have to hide? If he won’t let you scan it, then walk away. Also, which engine is in that 2009 Camry? Stay away from 2.4L I4 since they were prone to excessive oil consumption.

Oh yeah. No scan = No buy.
When I buy Ferraris for my dealership from private sellers, I hook up my scanner and check out the car prior to purchase.
This is a 2009 Camry with 170k+ miles on the clock. Absolutely no reason you shouldn't be able to scan it. I would walk away and not look back.
Throw "good luck" to the seller and walk away. Flag his ad if possible since he is a time waster. Don't get attached to this specific vehicle. Don't fantasize about owning this specific vehicle.
Good lord. Haven't heard of this one. Is it the effect of pandemic or post pandemic.
Tell the seller you have a pie in the oven. Then run away.
Lol you’re getting him excited..
Somebody has to!
