I recently bought a 2005 Toyota camry from a boy whose grandmother had passed away. It has 123,000 miles on it and I am mostly happy that I only gave 2300.00 for the car. The one thing that annoys me is the automatic locks. At first crank, locks work. But after around mid day, it clicks like it wants to work but doesn't. It doesn't work on the doors or the key fob. Do you have any idea what might be its problem? Welcome to Tennessee Scotty!

check the fuses, google 05 camry fuse diagram and see which one correlates to the door locks and see if it is burned out. Maybe even disconnect the battery too and see if that helps reset it. But im sure there is more that can be done to investigate the issue
I've had multiple Camry's before, and currently have an 06 Camry with 220,000 miles. Those suckers are great running cars as long as you do regular maintenance. In my 06 Camry I had a similar problem, and ended up replacing the door lock actuator. Maybe that's something to look into? It only took me an afternoon, and a lot cheaper than taking it to a dealership
