Hello Scotty,
What is your opinion on the 2023 AWD corolla? Should i wait for it? Or buy the 2022?
Love you here in Israel!
Why buy an AWD vehicle in Israel? Are you anticipating a snowy winter?
Maybe only in the Golan, although most AWD owners I know who actually use utilize their car's AWD abilities (mostly Dacia Duster, Daihatsu Terios, Suzuki Vitara and Jimny) got them for road trips in the Negev / Arava deserts - so I do agree that a Toyota family car AWD system is useless.
Well I'm never a fan of buying brand new models. I would probably get the 2022
2023 AWD corolla
Is there an AWD Corolla on sale here?
As far as I know the Corolla is either a weak and noisy 3 cylinder or a reasonable 1.8L hybrid - both FWD.
Or do you mean the Corolla Cross vs. The C-HR (Corolla High-Rider)?
In that case I'd go with the C-HR hybrid C-HIC, because it has the old reliable 1.8L hybrid system.
But it's worth mentioning that it has somewhat awkward looks and a somewhat miserable interior.
And obviously no AWD system, because it's a city crossover.
As far as the Corolla Cross, IMO, it has a better much interior/exterior and way more power at the sacrifice of simplicity and efficiency - also pricing and availability are unknown, but I'd imagine that unlike the CH-R that costs the same as a CX-30, the Corolla Cross will cost in the realms of a well equipped CX-5.
So on our market it's a mixed bet.
