Greetings, i want to know your opinion on how much should i spend on a toyota corolla '89? if everything is fine on it, that is!

I would not consider car with that age as a daily driving car. In the best case scenario, maybe a weekend toy. Too many things can go wrong with that age and you may be stranded on roads.
My friend in high school had one of these that had 450k miles on it and the ac still worked and everything. They are pretty reliable. I would say at max 3 to 4 grand depending on the state of the car and mileage.
You would be lucky to find a 89 Corolla where it claims EVERYTHING IS FINE.....if it was claimed that you would have to verify it to be so. Old cars can vary quite a bit as to what their owners think they are worth. That also gives you an advantage to the bargaining price point you can offer also.
