I’m considering getting the third generation of the Toyota Mr2 as my first car. What are some common problems these cars have? Also what should I look out for when buying one of these, and what should I expect to pay for one? Thank you

I’ve had my 2001 for 19 years and 105,000 miles. There haven’t been any unexpected issues. It was parked outside in the sun so I had to replace the top twice ($1,850 recently), reupholstered the seats, a paint job a couple years back, and the clutch. Tires are a bit pricey but all other maintenance is minimal. The car is a blast to drive. Just flip the top down and cruise around. It tracks like it’s on rails, has a smooth shifting trouble free 5 speed transmission, and gets 35 MPG too boot.
