Hi Scotty, I am looking for a used RAV4 or CRV but confused to make decision as both seems to be good crossovers and best selling here in the Netherlands. I only heard from CRV owners complaining about AC compressor fails after 70000 miles and problems with Automatic transmission but nothing from RAV4 owners.
Could you share your expertise and advise which is a good buy and what years are good for both cars.

Both are good cars but Toyota generally has less maintenance cost. Both manufacturers have models that you should avoid which you can find if you do some research.

At least in the U.S., Honda is known to have somewhat weaker air conditioning and automatic transmissions than Toyota.
