Hi Scotty!
I'm interested in buying a truck from my friend for farm use. It's a Toyota t100 1996 4x4 manual, extended cab. It's got 300000 miles on it. It's been California kept almost It's whole life, one owner. The frame and body are completely rust free. The seller is asking 3,000 for it. Is that a good deal, should I take the truck, and will it be worthwhile for me to buy? Thanks for any advice that you can give me. Love the show.
Sincerely,

$3,000 is a lot of money for that truck, even for a Toyota - those T100s aren't worth that much. Those are extremely durable little trucks that can still run strong, but I wouldn't pay more than $1,800 for it. They can last a super long time especially with the manual, but $3,000 is way too much for a 25 year old truck with 300K miles.
If you can check is the compression of engine still good I would buy it but still 3000$ is a lot for 300k miles, ask him to show you reciptes for this car that he changed oil and parts and put some money into it over the years If he didint go for 1500$ cause it will start to fall apart soon.
