I had a my 2015 tundra TSS model lock in 4x4 Low. I tried everything to unlock it but it won’t go back wars or forward I was switching it out between all 3 modes. Finally it went forward but it was beeping at me and won’t go in 2wheel drive until I called a service tech a Toyota. He told me to to drive I tight circle and it worked. The it happened the next week I ended up driving it to Toyota in 4 hi to get there 45 miles. They said the front differential was like sludge the back was better and the changed out those fluids and transfer cases too. Then that didn’t work so they said it needs a actuator. I’m in 4x2 but it’s Texas wet and I live on a farm. I’ve only had it for 3 years it had 83k on it now it has 133k Any advice???

well driveline fluids have to be changed, just like anything else. Especially if you got water in there.
I ended up driving it to Toyota... they said it needs a actuator.
I don't trust dealerships to do a good job anymore. As you can see, they haven't been very helpful. My advice is to go to a drivetrain specialist.
Obviously, the previous owner did not perform the required maintenance on the transfer case or differentials.
- I had a similar problem on my 01 Sequoia it ended up being a broken vacuum tube
But then when I did get it to go back into four it got stuck and whatever I did could not get it out and I just drove it in the four-wheel drive until the engine seized
