Toyota Vitz 2010 automatic transmission with a 145000+miles/km. During cold starts engine makes a single component like ticking sound (not rattle) and fades away after 5-8 seconds to a light tick. When engine is warm, sound is bit loud. And loud when accelerating. What i noticed also is when i shut off engine, the belts and pulley stops immediately but the tick sound fades away like (tick tick tick).
Note:
I bought this used almost a month ago and the engine oil previous owner used and is still in the engine is Valvoline VR1 racing 15W-40. Toyota recommends to use ISLAC -5W-30 oil. Can this be the culprit? Let me know your thoughts.
This is how it sounds like.

I have a recording of my vehicle how it behaves and how it sounds like. Let me know where i can upload it.
it's knocking so engine is toast. Previous owner probably used heavy oil to mask the sound.
