Hello, Love this site. I flushed my transmission at dealer before I saw Scotty say Not to. Now it shifts much harder than it used to. Did I shorten the life of it or is the new fluid less slippery? 2007 Toyota Sequoia 98,000 miles Thanks very much, Mani

no, new fluid isn't less slippery.
Some people spend a lot of money for firmer shifting. Actually slipping or delayed shifting is worse for transmission life. It's like burning up the clutch on a manual.
