I have a 2007 Tacoma, 4 cylinder , automatic with 140,000 miles. The transmission fluid was never changed. There are no issues with it. Can I or should I have it changed

I'd probably leave it at this point as long as you aren't having problems.

If you want to change it, just drain from the bottom and measure how much you get, then add the same amount with new fluid. That’s It. No flushing.

Both of the above are good answers. However, no one can tell you when/if your trans is gonna go. What does the fluid look like? Nice and red? A little tinted? Heavy tinted? Or dirty as heck?
If nice and red (clean), I'd change filter and fluid (no flush). If dirty, leave it alone! tinted, your call ; )
