Hey Scotty I have a 2006 toyota avalon with 89,000 miles is it okay for me to change the transmission fluid in it? I bought the car a few months ago from the original owner and I don't know if it's ever been changed. If I can what brand of fluid do I use I tried to do research but multiple different brands say compatible. Thanks in advance.

See the FAQ. Use genuine Toyota fluid if you change it.

If you decided to change the fluid, use Toyota fluid and change the filter as well.
